In 2005, Valerie and Yves Leblet created ARTLODGE , a “gallery-hostel-house”, today 2024, Valerie, french artist managed the place as a natural heaven for travelers and artists that harmoniously joins sustainable art, culture and tourism, preserving the environment and the social rhythm of the community. Situated on Gobernadora island in Panama’s Veraguas province, set on 40 acres that stretch from the ocean to the hills, traversed by jungle trails and clear water streams. The artist residency seamlessly integrates into this setting, designed as an open-air gallery that embraces nature, with no doors or windows, equipped with all the essentials for an exceptionally pleasant stay. Guests may choose to stay in individual bungalows with water and solar energy or in the camping area under the stars, for a truly creative and inspiring vacation experience. |
